Over-the-counter devices

The is a  risk of over-the-counter snore reducing devices. While they are affordable and can work when set up appropriately, you are on your own when it comes to setting them up and using them. That can be risky.

Snore-reducing devices, when improperly fit, can create side effects like jaw pain and dental changes. Using a snore-reducing device without any supervision by a dentist can leave you at risk for harm, so please be sure to let your dentist know if you are using one.

It is always best to have a custom oral device made  to control your snoring. You can also ask us about laser options to adjust the tissue at the back of your throat that can also contribute to the sound.
